Your gift and your information.

GIVE for Students uses your donation details to process your gift, honor its charitable and operating designations, send your receipt, maintain financial records, and answer questions about your contribution.

Secure payment and receipts.

Stripe collects your payment and billing details on its secure checkout. GIVE’s donation database does not store your card number or security code. We retain your name, email address, donation amounts and purposes, payment references, and receipt delivery status. Our database provider is Supabase; receipt emails are sent through Resend.

A necessary browser cookie helps prevent duplicate checkouts across tabs. It expires after one day. Making a donation does not subscribe you to marketing emails; the giving-updates signup is separate.

Corrections and refund requests.

If you made a mistake, need a corrected receipt, or want to request a refund, email kyle@giveforstudents.org with your receipt number. Please do not email card numbers. We will review your request and confirm the outcome. A submitted request is not confirmation of a refund.

We retain donation and receipt records for accounting, tax reporting, and recordkeeping obligations. Contact us at the same address with questions or requests about your information.
